Phone number for Revolut anyone?
Hello all, Got a friend who needs to speak to someone at Revolut and they cannot find a phone number. The only one which starts 023 puts you through to an automated system and doesn't allow you to speak to a human bean. Anyone had any luck getting through to the human side of this bank? Thanks.

We are NOT 'All in this together'
I didn't want to respond negatively to a thread in the 'coronavirus positivity' forum, but I'm really fed up of hearing that we're 'all in this together', as if it's the same for everyone - we weren't 'in it together' before covid-19, and we sure as hell aren't now. If anything it's widened the gap between the haves and…

Blooming Direct -delays, dead plants and refusal to refund
Whilst the company I hid the misfortune to deal with is called Blooming Direct I’ve since discovered they trade under more than 20 names. So anything where “Peter McDermott “ touts himself as the head gardener are part of the same outfit. Posting this as I’d hate anyone else to be ripped off by them. i ordered £96 of…

Ikea Support Contact line issues
This dept. seems to be dysfunctional at the moment. They texted me saying to call Support on 0203 645 0008. However when you get through, you just hear an ansaphone message saying they are 'Closed'. Which is odd, as the rest of message says they are open 7 days a week, 9-5.30. Could understand it at a Mom and Pop store,…

Flight Cancellation
A big thumbs down for Wizz Air for prevaricating for months over reimbursing a cancelled flight. Also to the regulators for doing nothing about airlines not meeting their obligations. And a thumbs up for Curve card for sorting out the issue with a minimum of fuss.

Co op funeral
A really disappointing and upsetting experience with the co op funeral. Would not recommend to anyone. No empathy no care use mobile funeral people who really do not know their local area. My dad was with them after cremation for a month yet the cemetery was open where he had a pre paid plot waiting they just ‘assumed’ it…

My experience with a plumber today
Well I've had a crap day. I finally called out a plumber to get the hot water fixed, its been off for months since corona began and I've just not had the chance to get someone round. Essentially the hot water tap started leaking and I had to seal it off with the red tap like valve. Plumber came round and said no problem it…

Whole fish OK?
I purchased 3 trout from the fresh fish counter of my local Morrisons. They were put in a "Cook in the Bag" container. I was just about to cook them as they were but decided that I'd put some extras in with them - herbs etc. only to discover, when I opened the bag, that the fish had not been gutted! Not squeamish but the…

NPower Select
I've just come across an anomaly that I feel concerning and confusing. I've just signed up to NPower Select under the impression that it is just a package sold by one of the 'Big 6' and would have to adhere to their regulations. Do they? Well when I emailed them to make sure that my FITs rebate would be protected should I…

Hermes
Hi, I sent a parcel with Hermes and they have failed to deliver and now I’m being refused to communicate with anyone about it. I have used their phone number 0330 335 0950 and when you get to the option to speak to someone it hangs up. Also their online automated chat service refuses to allow me to speak to someone or send…

PC World - phones gone to end of world..
I want to return a couple of unused items to Currys/PCworld but the only method currently is to phone customer services. I have been trying for 3 days at various times, always ending with line cut before getting anyone, tonight I was on hold for well over an hour then the lines closed before I got anyone. Tomorrow is the…

MyHermes barcode problems and can't contact them
I recently took advantage of Ebay's £1 max final value fee promotion and listed a lot of stuff that I had lying around. I had quite a bit of success and sold most of my items quickly. I always try to send my items as soon as I've been paid for them and usually use MyHermes for the convenience. I know a lot of people won't…

MindMover survey company
I've been a member of MindMover for quite a long time and have previously cashed in points worth £50. I have been aiming for the next £50 and up until last week I had 4981 points and so only needed one more survey to reach the 5000 points required. However, I logged into my account and saw the total had dropped to 2481…

Warning about Furniture 24/7 - Furniture247.co.uk
I wanted to post a warning here about the company Furniture 24/7 to try and stop others going through a nightmare like we did after ordering from them. We ordered a waterproof incontinence mattress for a disabled relative, (similar to the ones you find in the NHS), we ordered it on their website for £199.99. Their website…

Iceland took Money multiple times
I recently got a slot on Iceland delivery and went to pay the £84 but was told that there was a problem with my card. I thought I had maybe put in a wrong digit so did it again and got the same message so I tried with a credit card and got the same message and was advised to try the visa direct option which I then tried…

Forced delivery payment on monthly animal medicine
Bullets: I pay £17.99 a month for my dog's medication subscription. I have been forced into paying £2.50 for delivery for something 3 minutes away. I wasn't notified of any changes when they have taken payment every month. Hi, I have a monthly subscription with my vet to get my dogs flea and worming medication (£17.99). I…

Morrisons "Buy 2 get 1 free wine offer" ????
Is Morrisons "Buy 2 get 1 free wine offer" clear? You might interpret this as when buying two bottles you get one of them free... it's not in fact this is a 3 for the price of 2 offer - which is how Morrisons and most retailers would normally promote it to avoid any confusion. Also be aware that if you put two bottles in…

TESCO Clubcard Rewards for magazines is not worth anything remotely like what Tesco say
All very well that vouchers are being extended due to Coronavirus, but they really are not worth anything remotely like what they used to be, and for magazines at least, the prices that they compare savings to are HUGELY misleading. In the past I have used them to buy a Radio Times magazine subscription. Today I checked,…

Currys / PC World. Again.
Grrrrr. This predatory outfit gets a deserved bashing on here time and again. You have to wonder if it's even worth the effort of saying: DO.NOT. SHOP. THERE. But, well, here goes: another little addition to the catalog of its sytematic rip-offs of the naive: A friend of mine called me this morning because his computer…
