Disappointed with Amazon

Just a bit of a moan really, I'm not angry, just disappointed

I was watching a series on Amazon Prime with 5 seasons all included and was around half way through season 3, went to put it on Monday night and it is no longer included - the options came up to rent or buy! I'm not going to do either so that is the end of that series for me. I contacted Amazon but the usual reply came back - nothing we can do, sorry, it's out of our control.
Not really a vent or warning, just a disappointment to watch out for before you get too involved in any programmes that are not Amazon originals

Pretty much the same with all streaming services, would be helpful if they said when the series was available until.4

Are you just trying to get banned?
Where does it say what show was being watched?
You were fun on your own thread, now your just posting bile on others.

Yeah at least Now TV and Netflix warn when shows are leaving.
With the launch of Star on Disney+ some shows have moved over to there so might be worth checking if it is on Disney+?
Also some of the NBC content that was on NowTV/SKY has moved to Netflix.1 -

I had an opposite experience with BBC i-player.We decided to watch the whole 86 episodes of Spooks (can't understand how we missed it first time around) just before Christmas but part way through the early series, I noticed that the earlier series were only available for 1 month and the later ones for 2 months.I worked it out and we binge-watched, sometimes 3 episodes a night to get through it before it disappeared. All 10 series are now on i-player, available for 'over a year'.1
