Quickie Divorce shysters

Anyone else had dealings with these people?  I paid £347 for them to do the paperwork for me.  Then I was asked for another £550 for court fees which I couldn't afford so I requested a refund.  Or at least a partial one which was refused.  It should be a simple case as husband deported 12 years ago.  Not sure who to turn to for help.

Why do you think you're entitled to a refund? did they not do the paperwork?

Why was the payment of £550 a shock to you ?

It does sound like either the company didn't explain the process and costs very well or the OP didn't listen to them.

    It's an online process.
The website seems pretty clear to me.
It has 3 options, all explained.
At the bottom of each option page it shows a comparison of fees between solicitors and Quickie Divorce.
It's very clear that their quoted fees are + court fees.
The most expensive seems to be £167 so it would be interesting to know what the £347 the OP said she paid actually covered.

i think it's a case of the OP not reading the website fully and understanding the full costs.
That's not the fault of the company.
