Unwanted ph calls ?
I'm ex-directory but just lately keep getting unwanted calls from companies. I don't wait to hear what they're trying to sell me, just ask where they have got my number from. They always say automated dialing, does this mean I have to also register with the TPS to stop them?

Are 18866 and 1899 sustainable?
Are the prices offered by these companies sustainable (e.g. 1p only for a UK call) or is this a ploy to attract customers and attention before an eventual price rise?

18866 - Too good to be true? - you bet!
You don't get something for nothing. The reason 18866 is so cheap is because the line quality is often terrible. Sometimes it's so bad I have had to hang up and dial direct. :-[

Using 18866 to US mobiles
Have just read your latest bulletin on cheap phone calls. You state that 18866 is the cheapest way to phone USA mobiles at 1p/minute, but the tarriff is now 2p/minute for both landlines and mobiles (but it probably is still the cheapest!)
