Hi
Has anyone else had problems with cordless phone batteries running out under 1 year? This has happened twice to me now and has been when I've moved house. My latest phone (bt synergy cordless) was bought for me Feb '04 and I used to get the recommended 7 hours talk time. I moved in No '04 and very quickly the battery would not charge more than half full, providing only 1 hour talk time. I rang the bt helpline and they said the batteries are only guaranteed for 10 months. That's not long is it? I've bought a new one now and just hope I don't move again for a while! I've always left it off the base for a few hours a day which is what they advise.

i have daewoo digital cordless phones which i bought direct from daewoo approx 5 yrs ago( dont think they sell them anymore) but the reason i bought them cos they use ordinary rechargeable batteries not the ones that come in a little plastic pack( i think i have only replaced them twice) so when my batteries eventually run dry i just go out and but more rechargeable batteries rather than the pack:cool:0
