Just found out that Tesco bank has placed a Cifa on my credit file. What do I do (screenshots)?
I didn't even know what "Cifa" meant until I looked it up online. Apparantly it's to do with fraud. I have no idea why this has been placed on my file since I have never had an account associated with Tesco. Please help. Thanks.

I need a loan for £25k - a few weeks ago most of the sites said I was eligible but I never applied. But now, almost all lenders say I am not eligible. Why could this be? One thing I think that caused it is that a few weeks ago I properly applied for a loan which I chose not to proceed with (as the interest as a lot higher…

Hard Search: Broadband Contract = Loan?
Hi. I recently switched to BT for broadband after being with Sky for ages. During the order process, I was told about a credit check being run, but why does switching broadband have to be a hard search and not a soft one? Surely taking out broadband contract is not the same as taking a loan?? Plus, Sky never did a credit…
