Can I reclaim court fees £275 if I succesfully have a CCJ set aside?
Hi I had an alert on my credit file last night and found a CCJ on there from the 14th June 22. A little digging around this morning and I've discovered that it was for a parking charge that I paid previously and have evidence and correspondence that confirms this was paid by the deadline. The total cost of the CCJ was…

Return from abroad - no credit rating
We returned to the UK after living in France for 18 years. During that time we let our Barclaycards lapse and at the moment are going through the hoops to resolve that. However, is it worth while enquiring about applying for another card even if the Barclaycard thing is unresolved. Incidentally we didn't owe anything on…

Why different scores from different companies?
I'm registered with Experian, Clear Score and Credit Karma, and each gives me a different credit score. I'm not talking about a few points difference, for example, Experian has me in the high 600s whilst Credit Karma has me in the low 300s! Anyone have any idea why?

Hi, I've recently searched my credit report using the site checkmyfile. Whilst it is accurate that I was…

Experian and ClearScore ratings inexplicably dropping!
Hi Money Savers. I hope someone who is more knowledgeable in the field of credit rating may be able to help me here. I've always kept an eye on my Experian score, usually once per year, and for many years I had a perfect score of 999 or thereabouts. I lived at home until my late 20s, never had any debt and always paid off…
