Upon checking my ClearScore account I’ve noticed a credit account I’ve had open for a considerable while (and is still very much open) is saying it’s “closed”, this is definitely an error however my credit score has now gone down as a result. I contacted ClearScore about the error and the email response I got back was…

Hard Search: Broadband Contract = Loan?
Hi. I recently switched to BT for broadband after being with Sky for ages. During the order process, I was told about a credit check being run, but why does switching broadband have to be a hard search and not a soft one? Surely taking out broadband contract is not the same as taking a loan?? Plus, Sky never did a credit…

Proving identity using credit report
I needed to prove my identity for HMRC and I had to chose 2 out of 3 options from my credit file, my passport and Northern Ireland driving licence. Late payment on credit file
Is there any guidance or rules around companies reporting a late payment to the Credit Agencies? Can they do it when you are more than one day late, for example?I’m only asking because I read on Equifax website that companies shouldn’t really be sharing the info unless you are more than 30 days late. Thanks

Hi, my husband has had a couple of letters from an EOS Solutions. Initially we ignored them as thought they were a scam. However the most recent one says they may refer to their legal partners.
