Multiple soft checks from Zopa

Options
Hi,

I’ve just been looking at my credit score and file and in the first six months of this year Zopa have done three soft credit checks on me at an address I haven’t lived at for 20 years (it’s my childhood home address but my parents no longer live there) and using my maiden name (I’ve been married for 15 years). They all say ‘general enquiry’ rather than affordability, identity check or consumer file check.

I’d never heard of Zopa until I saw this and looked them up and have no idea why they’d be using such old details. Has anyone experienced this before or have any idea why they’d be doing this?

Thanks in advance

As they are ‘soft searches’ and presumably you have nothing to hide, you needn’t worry.

You could, however, put in a call to them and query where it may have come from or launch a dispute via the CRA if you are concerned.
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing
