We are in the process of selling our home and buying another property but there will be a period of approx 6 months between selling the current home and completing on the second. In the interim, we plan to live in a static caravan on private land. My question is with regards to our listing on the electoral roll for this…

£20 Default from 2018 - how much will this affect my future credit (mortgages)
I have recently accessed my Experian credit report because I'm considering moving house and will thus need my credit to be in good shape to get a mortgage. I was surprised to find a default of £20 to Ovo energy from 2018. As far as I was aware I ceased being their customer in in Dec 2017 and didn't know of anything left…

I have no missed payment markers since Feb 2020, but loads before that date, how much will this...?
...affect my ability to be seen as credible in the eyes of lenders/landlords/those who check credit reports etc.? I was extremely irresponsible with money up until that time and I decided to take my finances seriously and I have no missed payment markers since. Still, the missed payments prior to this still shows on my…

Anyone else have a Credit Karma issue?
Received an update on the weekend, checked the report and credit info was completely missing, other info was out of date etc. It's as if their api wasn't working anymore. Just checking if anyone else noticed anything similar. If not I will have to complain with TransUnion and that's always an ordeal.

Can't understand why my credit score has nose dived
I get that credit scores fluctuate, and I also know that opening new accounts can have an adverse affect. What I can't quite understand is why my score has nose dived by so much. Looking at my "Credit Karma" account, my score has gone from "Excellent" to "Fair" (loosing 60 points) since December 2021. I have opened some…

Hello everyone, So I have post office home insurance. My bank (Barclays) was increasing the premium so much every year, I left to look elsewhere. Security Clearence
I am going through SC clearance for a civilian role with the MOD. I have poor credit, several defaults and owe just short of 20k. I am tackling this though and have a DMP in place plus I pay extra to get my balances down. I have been honest on the questionnaire. It’s been 4 weeks now and I’m worried sick I’ll fail…

Clearscore app reporting score of 1000/1000
When Clearscore was out of 700 I had a score of something like 576/700. Since the app updated to score out of 1000 it has always given me the highest score possible score: 1000/1000. I thought they were keeping the proportional score the same so I was expecting a value of around 820 under the new system. Is this a mistake…

Situation is this: we may need to apply for a mortgage sometime this year, and Mrs will probably be the sole applicant.
