Would having previously been furloughed impact any future credit applications?
Just wondering if any banks would consider previously furloughed employees as having an increased risk of losing their job and therefore would this impact any credit applications?

Can someone please help me? My husband has been working throughout the lockdown periods, work has been steady, and at times he has had to work overtime because they are currently short-staffed on his site. He has booked a week off to be with the kids during half-term (next week). His employer has now decided to furlough…

Closed gym freeze fee
Hi everyone. My gym has, obviously, been closed for lockdown. They have been enforcing a £5 per month freeze fee over both lockdowns. I’m just wondering, is this legal? It would obviously be unlawful for us to use the gym so are they allowed to charge us for a service we can’t access? With the amount of time we’ve…

SEIS
My son is a tattoo artist which he began in 2017. He submitted a tax return for year ending 2018 but that only related to 4 months. He then submitted a return for year ending 2019. Obviously he has been unable to work through the lockdowns and applied for SEIS . It seems that HMRC have calculated the grants over 24 months…

I left my family company and income behind October 2019 as a result of a divorce. I launched a new company in early in 2020. Then the Coronavirus hit. SEISS payment 1 month or 3 months Re UC
The government says SEISS payments are ‘to cover’ 3 months, therefore I divide it into three in order to budget. However, when I claim monthly Universal Credit, the SEISS payment is counted as one payment covering one month and I therefore loose almost all UC for that month. Surely it should be calculated as a third for…

Carers vaccination
I’m lucky enough to have had my first vaccine as I’m CEV. My daughter gets Carers allowance for looking after me. Apparently, she should be in group 6 ( it says unpaid Carers, is that the same as Carers who get Carers allowance?) But how does the government know she’s in that group? Are we supposed to inform someone?
