Paying for parcel protection
I just bought clothing worth £18 online from boo-hoo. At the checkout they automatically added parcel protection insurance for approximately £1.50. I didn’t notice this had been added until after I paid. I’ve complained to them by email but haven’t received a reply. Is it legal to automatically add this cover, requiring…

Guarantee for new boiler works?
So we had a combi boiler installed in July 2023, and it was serviced by the same people who installed it a year later. Mail order item stolen from non-safe place.
I know that if an item is stolen from a specified place the courier is not held responsible. Amazon made a delivery whilst we were out and e-mailed a photo showing it in an easily seen part of a side entry, not behind the wheelie bins that are our specified safe place. Are Amazon responsible for providing a replacement?
