£5000 sofa

Furniture village sold us 2 leather sofas £5000 we also paid £400 insurance they both have started peeling on the seats none of us wear jeans the store said contact insurance and insurance said contact store now saying unfortunately wear and tear not yet 2 year old just me and my husband in the house no children or pets what can I do please help advice greatly appreciated they won’t even come out to inspect them or answer emails

Difficult to see how they can conclude wear and tear without inspecting, but perhaps you submitted plenty of decent photos?
Anyway, perhaps worth getting an inspection carried out (and report written) by an independent furniture expert, and then use that as the basis on which to exercise your consumer rights for repair/replacement/refund.

I would expect leather furniture at that sort of price to last a long time. We’ve had 2 lots of leather settees/chairs over 30 years and the only damage was due to cats, it seems cat claws and leather furniture are highly compatible 😹.0
