Lloyds switch offer 1 July 2025
Keep your eyes peeled for a new current account £185 switch offer from Lloyds. Sadly not for people who, like myself and many other forumites, have received a switching bonus from Lloyds or Halifax since April 2020.

Kroo
Anyone signed up and used Kroo? I see that they have a great interest on current account, no savings account required. Just wondered how they are and how popular they are? thanks

Santander switch question
Hello all I have a quick question about the 180 pounds switch money. I already have log in details for Santander but closed my accounts long time ago, well bank accounts anyway, may have had savings accounts still sitting there (hope that does not disqualify me). Anyway what I wonder is, I have my donor account ready to…

Barclays Bank - online banking
I have been on Barclays Bank business online banking - trying to fill in a change of mandate form. Part of the form has a drop down menu which just isn't working - I have tried deleting all my cookies and trying another browser - so far tried Safari and Chrome but just can't get it to work. Anyone else having this trouble?…

How to prevent payment being removed from my Halifax debit account
Any suggestions on how to stop this occurring again on the 01st July, please. Seems there`s no facility within my account to allow me to prevent this payment. Left it late because only just checked for entry allocations following previous payment being taken & there appears to have been a cessation in ticket allocation…

LHV current account uncapped 3.25% interest
Seems to be app based. Fully regulated. Maybe an alternative to Chase ? It is the first new current account to launch in Britain since 2021 when Chase Bank burst onto the scene, and it already offers savings accounts and loans. LHV which has been operating in the UK since 2018, after establishing itself as the third…

Bank account switch.
I am seeking some guidance on switching banks. I am in the Halifax at the moment and would like to switch to another bank. TSB 20 card payments question
For the TSB switch offer where you get £15 cashback each month as long as you make 20 debit card payments - if I used my card to tap on a TfL bus twice (return journey an hour later) I know TfL only take the one amount out, but would this be classed as 2 payments, given I tapped my card twice? The same goes for tube…

Chase - contacting them via the app
Seems to have changed since I last used it. Used to have to go to support & then there'd be some obvious chat to us thing where you'd ask your question. I'm sure it's clear as day to you guys but they seem to have moved it with an app update & I can't find it. Where should I be looking? I'm hoping they've not removed it…

My bank won’t initiate a recall
I wonder if anyone can confirm if something my bank, Revolut, is correct or not. I searched the internet and cannot find a definitive answer. I was paying a friend back money they had lent me, but when I selected them from my payee list I selected the wrong payee - 2 friends with similar names. I realised what I’d done…

I always thought overdraft interest rates were standard for everyone.
Just got a letter from my bank, telling me the interest rate on my arranged overdraft facility is coming down, from 49.9% to 29.9%. It says the rate can go up and down, depending upon, among other things "how you manage your financial products and services you hold with us and with other financial providers."

Electricity bills sent at random dates for random amounts
When the previous electricity supplier went belly up, I was transferred to another supplier, one of the Big Six, starting December 2021. As I don't pay by direct debit, they put me on a Quarterly Cash tariff, by default, without me asking anything. That being a big company serving about 10% of the UK market, you would…

Revolut Card - Holland
Hi, Apologies if this has already been asked, but I couldn’t find a clear answer and just wanted to double check. I’m heading to Holland in August and have just received a Revolut card. Am I right in thinking I can top it up here in the UK and use it like a normal debit card over there, with no fees, no hidden charges and…

Problem with BACS transfers to Joint Accounts
I wonder if anyone else has experienced the following problem, or knows the answer. My wife and I have had a Joint Bank Account for many years with the Bank of Scotland. It has always worked well and, in particular, there were never any problems when anyone needed to make a BACS transfer to the account - in the days when…

Anyone having trouble accessing the Nationwide website?
Following a recent legacy my wife and I opened a Nationwide saving account. All was well on the 10th June, but then we went on 10 days holiday, and now we are back I can't get onto any Nationwide website! But my wife can, from the same house.I am worried Nationwide has done a "Coventry". A couple of months ago I tried to…

Barclays euro account
I have a Barclays personal euro account in which I deposit cash. From October it will be possible to pay in euros only via online transactions. I get euros as a gift and it can only be donated to me in cash. Any other bank that can let you do it? I don't want to exchange euros into pounds as I need the euros. Thanks.
