Best bank for a Trustee account
Following the death of my uncle, my brother and I are joint trustees for funds that benefit our disabled cousin. The trust is registered with HMRC and we now need a bank account.
I'm working on the assumption that it needs to be a designated Trust account, rather than a straightforward joint account. We both bank with HSBC but they don't open Trust accounts anymore, as it seems is the case with most of the other banks.
I'm therefore looking for recommendations for a place to open such an account, an account that will have minimal transactions through it.

What sort of trust is it?
Metro bank is generally ok for trust accounts last time I looked
Building Societies traditionally were more open to personal trust accounts
HSBC does do trust accounts, but in their Private Client section

How much are we talking about being held in trust? Holding a large amount in cash earning little interest is not in the best interests of the beneficiary.
