Travel insurance via packaged account - good idea?
Hello, Planning a holiday in the US and looked for travel insurance to cover family (medical mostly but also the other 'usual' stuff, but the other things are not as important for me). After getting some online quotes I am now looking at a Chubb underwritten one. I then considered buying a packaged account for a year as…

Home insurance for a home that is in a trust
My grandchildren’s home is in a trust for them as they have tragically lost both of their parents. I am finding it difficult to find a reasonable home insurance because of this. Gap insurance on a used EV?
So I want an EV of some description, in part due to the cheap electricity, and cheap cost of motoring even after insurance costs Though there is tbf "rapid depreciation" and you get some very well priced 2020 model cars with decent range. I'd buy older if the range was the same as the ones in 2020 for instance Would it…

Renewal cheaper than comparison
Since the FCA changed the rules on renewal pricing, it has always been cheaper to accept my renewal price, for house and car insurance, than go to a comparison site - even for the exact same insurance, from the exact same provider. At the same time, insurance costs have increased considerably. My take is that the FCA…

MSE car insurance comparison tool quote different price on insurer's site
I've used the MSE recommended price comparison tool which is from Moneysupermarket and has come up with the cheapest quote of £176. My insurance quote is 208% higher than last year so I decided to use Martin's tool. Fine until it wanted my driving licence number.
