Car insurance claim query
I had a (very) minor accident in December 2023. I suggested to the other driver that we leave it to the respective insurers to sort out liability as we both essentially thought the other party was at fault. I opted not to claim on my insurance but to pay for repairs myself which cost me £240 which will give some idea of…

Delay with RAC motor insurance renewal documentation.
I’m having some trouble getting my motor vehicle insurance renewal documents from RAC car insurance, and my policy is due in three weeks. I don’t have the details on my current NCB years, so is it okay to use my NCB proof from last year, which covers 21/06/2023 to 30/06/2024? With this delay, I think I’ve probably missed…

Input appreciated
I raised a claim with the insurance company that holds the warrantee for my house regarding potential water ingress at my patio doors. "No thorough inspection" = damage noticed after home insurance renewal deemed "false information"
Summary: Subsidence claim denial and removal of policy has been attributed to lack of inspection at a level beyond a (in this case fairly knowledgeable) layman's ability prior to answering renewal questions, making the answers misleading - meaning that the expectation from the insurer is for there to be a professional…
