Travel insurance via packaged account - good idea?

Hello,
Planning a holiday in the US and looked for travel insurance to cover family (medical mostly but also the other 'usual' stuff, but the other things are not as important for me).
After getting some online quotes I am now looking at a Chubb underwritten one.
I then considered buying a packaged account for a year as the price of this is around half the quote. Interestingly the travel insurance that comes with the packaged account is also underwritten by Chubb.
I'll read through the details but on the surface of it it's tempting. There are no medical questions when opting for the one coming with the account (not that I would worry much) but they 'exclude' claims around what has been discussed with the GP over the last 12 months, which seems reasonable and not much different than going through a questionnaire and declaring everything for years and years for all of us.
Any experiences or hints what to look out for?

Which bank?
In principle there is nothing wrong with packaged insurance with a bank account, we use the same from Barclays/Aviva. With the majority however you still have to do medical screening and potentially pay an additional premium if you do have any conditions.
Having a blanket exclusion/moratorium on conditions is ok as long as you fully understand it and it meets your needs. I'd be surprised if it only excludes things you've spoken to the GP about in the last 12 months as these things tend to also exclude things you've had symptoms of or took medication for plus often there is a much longer period for things like cancer or heart disease.1 -
I bank with Lloyds and have travel insurance with the account. When I investigated the cost of insurance with pre-existing conditions with 3rd party insurers the premium came out at between £300 and £400. Through the bank, the cost was £60 as the only item they were interested in was my hip replacement. Everything else, including my wife's badly broken leg didn't need to be declared although I did speak to somebody about that.

Revolut is not a classed as a bank in the UK.

You're right of course but for the purpose of a travel insurance that doesn't matter I would think.0
