Simple Delivery : wrong weight
I listed an item several months ago, with my postage set as a small parcel, even commenting to this effect in the listing. The item has now sold, but the pre-paid label provided by ebay (using EVRi) gives a maximum weight of 1kg. I measured the weight and it is, in fact about 1.4kg What should I do ? I didn't list as…

Closing for Christmas?
My usual thread about if and when sellers decide to go onto a holiday footing for Christmas. I've not made my final decision yet, but seeing the chaos locally that is Royal mail I might close my business ebay account at least 7 working days before Christmas Eve, I'm seeing far too many items arriving very late but as it's…

Item not required
I ordered a suitcase from eBay and it didn’t arrive by the expected delivery date.I opened a request and was given the option to request a refund. I did this but now they have emailed to say they have just posted it by 24 hour courier arriving tomorrow. I do not want this suitcase now as I have had to buy one elsewhere for…

Company won't refund
I recently bought some items online through Debenhams, I returned both items and they have confirmed that they have had them both back. They have only refunded one of the items. This has been going on since early October and I keep getting fobbed off saying the refund has been processed when it quite clearly hasn't. I have…

I sold an item on Ebay this week and I received a message from a buyer yesterday afternoon to say that the parcel that was delivered that day has gone missing, and they cannot find it. The buyer first messaged me about the item prior to to the sale, to say they had a bad experience with another seller sending them a fake…

I just got this message on one of my private accounts, the one I don't commonly use: It looks like any listings not changed over to simple delivery will now be done - about a year later than they originally said! There's also new couriers being introduced which will be interesting. Changes to some of your listings Dear xxx…

Never using EVRI again!
Sold an item for £5 plus £3 postage. Not received. Evri photo "proof" was of the parcel being left on a doorstep of a very different (closed) front door (I can see the correct front door on StreetView). Spent ages going through the complaints and claims procedure, uploading every tiny little thing Evri demanded, and…

eBay - Simple Delivery Item Damaged During Delivery
I'm the seller, and I can see from the EVRi tracking is that the package got damaged in transit. The photo when they handed it over to the buyer shows the item in a plastic bag when I packaged it up in a protective cardboard mailer. Buyer has opened up a return request and not messaged me with any details. I'm a little…

Vinted - Parcel not delivered but refusing to refund me
Hi Guys Happy Friday! I’m keen to get others thoughts on this as it’s eating away at me. At the tail end of June I purchased a top off vinted ; nothing expensive - literally £7 inc fees and postage. The item was sent by the seller and marked as delivered to my house ….. however it never reached me. I contacted vinted who…

Ebay Delivery Times
Has anyone else noticed that when the seller states delivery in 2 to 3 days it is really 3 to 7 days and nearer 7 days? My last 5 orders from Ebay sellers were like that, delivery in 2 to 3 days then when the email comes confirming the order the delivery is 3 to 7 days and of course the delivery comes on day 8. I have an…

Dpd / packlink / Yeep locker
For some reason one of my sold items has not used simple delivery. I have used ebay/pacllink to bit a label for DPD and the only local drop-off points I have are Yeep lockers which I need a PIN number to access but I have not been sent a PIN. The yeep Locker does not accept any of the numbers on the label. I have even…

Amazon postage not enough
I sell books on Amazon's "sell yours here" and they always give me exactly £2.80 for postage (they charge the buyer then pass it on to me). Trouble is, all the books I send are slightly too thick to be counted as "large letter" and need to go as a small parcel. The cheapest 2nd class postage is £3.50. So I lose 70p every…

Simple Delivery : Insurance for high value items
Previously, before 'Simple Delivery' if I was selling a high-value item, I could select the appropriate courier and add in a factor to over any insurance. If something sold for a lot more than I had expected, I could simple change the delivery option, and pay for the extra coverage myself. Now however, it seems the…

Combined postage for extra items .. Simple Delivery
A buyer has just bought 3 items from me, which were listed using the Simple Delivery option. I'm not really sure how this works. Oh, I see eBay have added 'get prepaid label' so I guess this is for all three items. I just hope it doesn't go over the 2kg limit. Now, the same buyer has put in offers for two more items, with…
