PayPal Credit to make a purchase
I entered into a credit agreement with PalPay to purchase a 16" Laptop via eBay. However, what turned up was a small envelope filled with scrap paper, delivered to the wrong address! I immediately informed both eBay and PayPal, and their internal resolution process went into play. However, they found in the seller's favour…

Buying a flat with several Section 20 notices
Dear all, I have had an offer accepted on a leasehold flat, and found out a few weeks ago that several Section 20 works have been announced on the building. Sellers have offered a discount just over the "estimated" costs of two of the S20s, with a third one due later in 2026 saying I should take care of that. So far so…

Profile, messages and bell buttons not always appearing
Is anyone else finding that when they open a new page of the forum the profile, messages and bell buttons aren't always appearing? I'm often getting this sort of screen: In each case refreshing the page seems to've sorted it. This has been happening on and off all day on both my laptop and phone.

Any Black Horse replies?
Hello, I just wondered if anybody had contacted Black Horse and had a response? I contacted them in Jan before this started getting publicity and then again more recently using the MSE template and haven’t had a response or an acknowledgment at all. I simply wanted to know, not complain, whether my Tesla PCP had any…

Can you collect No Claims Discount on Home Insurance?
Does no claims discount work for home insurance like it works for car insurance? I have been with the same insurer but their prices crept up so I changed but my previous insurer said they don't provide evidence of no claims though I told my new insurer I had x years from my previous provider.

OnePoll - Not a good experience, would not recommend
I like doing surveys, so via MSE I signed up for most of them listed and in the past couple of years had good experiences with all of them but... Covered call ETFs like XYLD etc
Trying to assess the risk Vs reward of these. Found YouTubes that explain that your exposure to stock market gains is limited. But not much about other risks or volatility. Tempting to think that if we're near the peak of the cycle then one could accept the limited gain risk in return for 10% return. Any other risks? Would…
