Payslips for mortgages
I might want to take out a mortgage in the future and wonder if the actual net pay on a payslip matters or if they only look at the gross. HMRC has noticed recently that I had untaxed interest last year so now they nullified my personal allowance and made it -8k instead which is why my net pay on the payslip has taken a…

Is there a way of viewing the savings interest reported to HMRC. I logged into my tax account but can't find this information. I have received a letter quoting a total amount but no breakdown on how they arrived at this amount. Any suggestions how to view this information would be appreciated please.

Newbie Question - APCOA Manchester T3 (Driver)
Hi All, Fairly new here (have now read the newbies thread and associated threads), but messed up in apcoa appeal. Drove to Manchester Airport T3 to drop off a person recently, stayed for 3 minutes, and because I don't drive there often it completely slipped my mind to pay the barrierless exit fee by the time I got home.…

Should I accept this offer?
I parked my vehicle in an NCP car park in Bromley back in October. I parked up and booked into our hotel, then a couple of hours later left in the vehicle to go and see a show in London, returning just before midnight and leaving the following day around 12.30pm (total hours parked under 24 hours) - I have parked in NCP…

As I completed the turn, my…

Convenyancing lawyers
I’m really distressed and need some advice. My conveyancing solicitors (Cambridge Solicitors LLP) gave me a CON29M mining report but never properly explained the risks, and I’ve now suffered a financial loss because of it. I complained, but they’ve denied any wrongdoing and their reply felt cold and defensive. I’m waiting…

Which of these two unspent back payment calculations is used by the DWP?
Hi all, Does anyone know which of the following methods the DWP typically uses to calculate unspent backpay? Claimant's starting bank balance is £4,000. A back payment of £10,000 is received, which takes the Claimant's bank balance to £14,000. The Claimant spends £4,000 of his money, which takes the Claimant's bank balance…

My husband died recently. He was 62. He had 2 workplace pensions. He retired early in 2017 and was receiving both pensions monthly.
