Octopus have temporarily stopped switching / sign ups for their Flux tariffs. The following notice appears on the pages for Flux and IOF:

Important: Energy prices are particularly volatile right now, so this tariff is temporarily unavailable. We’ll update this page as soon it’s available again.

I switched on Monday am , although I'm not sure why they have stopped it, the import rates aren't low, but yes the export (being the same as import) are quite lucrative.

Looks like they have pulled Snug too. It's no longer showing in the postcode tariff search results like it was yesterday.

I expect Agile and tracker may get the same treatment, when they did it in the past it took them many months to open the gates again whilst Agile was cheaper.

    Terrible timing for us…😖

What would be the best alternative in the interim? (for a home with PV, battery and a ASHP)

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

Depends on how much you export vs your reliance on import. If solar/battery get you through the day with virtually no import, like us in Summer, then just fine your best export rate.
if you need import to supplement solar, then maybe an EV tariff so you can charge the battery cheaply.

Surely with both Agile and Tracker the risk is with the customer, not with Octopus. Unless you mean they might be wanting to raise the £1/kWh cap.

Too early to tell… I suspect the former during spring/summer, but almost certainly the latter when the weather turns later in the year
