Adding Multiroom to Existing Sky+
Hi I have a friend who has had Sky+ for years. He now wants to have it in another room as well. I'm sure that Sky will try to tell him that he must have Sky Q, which he doesn't want or need. Will Sky supply a second card for him to use in a box bought from eBay, or even supply a box themselves?

Enforcing the TV License
I should state that I do have a TV license and I have researched the below question online, but can't find a satisfactory answer. I understand that if you watch live TV through BBC iPlayer on a computer/tablet/phone that you have to buy a TV license, which is all well and good. What I want to know is how can they possibly…

BTTV Price Increase 28th July
Just had an email from BT saying they're putting up the price of my BTTV Max package by £4pm from 28th July, but I can continue at current price if I sign up for a new 18 month contract - and in the fine print it says a new 18 month BTTV package will necessitate a new 18 month BTInternet contract, and that BT prices will…

Swapped Sky Q for Now TV
Earlier this year, I was paying £65 (ish) a month for Sky TV:* Sky Q * Sky Q Multiscreen * Movies * Entertainment + Box Sets In February, I decided to bite the bullet and get rid, after looking at cheaper alternatives so gave my notice to end the services in March. I looked at Now TV, with Entertainment and Movie passes,…

itv hub catch-up problem
Hi I haven't used my itv hub account for ages, but am trying to catch up the last episode of the Hatton Garden Job. I've signed in, verified my email and can watch ITV live, but I can't play catch-up although it tells me that I'm "Now Watching" against the last episode. There's no play (>) icon and nothing obvious to get…

Sony Bravia firmware update
Have been using my 2 Bravia TVs for years to stream content (music, photos, videos) from my Network Drive. In the last week Sony have introduced a firmware update that has prevented the TVs from recognising any of this content. This has seriously reduced the functionality of my TVs and completely destroyed my home…

Leave sky even if locked in contract
I recently successfully left sky with no early termination fee while still locked into a contract. Unhappy with my April bill increase I decided to call sky and offer my 31 days notice intending to leave sky to be told I was still locked into a contract. I explained I had made a series of poor financial decisions of late…

Leave BT Sport (temporarily?)
Hi. I received an email today from BT Sport saying that they will be adding £2 to my monthly bill for BT Sport which I receive through TalkTalk. It will now be £29.99. When I signed up to BT Sport in Sept 2017 it was £22.99. I only use BT sport for football, and as the Champs League group stages don't start until…

Freeview Options
Hi, I have recently moved into a new build and have no other options for a tv package deal apart from Sky. The building only has Sky and capabilities. I don’t like Sky Q as my folks have it and it seems to be overpriced and just not very good. Been looking into getting a Freeview Play box so I can record and pause live tv,…

Humax T2000 as a sky replacement
Hi - firstly, what a brilliant forum, it's really helped find a solution for binning off sky. Looking around it seems the Humax T2000 is an almost like-for-like replacement for the skybox - I wanted something which has a similar planner and recording function, access to apps like sky store (where we've already purchased…

Samsung QLED from John Lewis
Hi all, I'm new here thought I was post my conundrum here (sorry of it's the wrong thread). I want to buy the new Samsung QLED TV and looked around for the best current deal and seen John Lewis does a price match and a 0% interest free credit (which I've been told ends 18th Nov). All sounds good right? However, Black…
