What do you actually get with Sky Box Sets?
I'm currently paying £5.00 a month for Sky Box Sets, but I'm not sure if we actually use it or not. The stuff that finds its way into our planner is either recorded via Sky+, or content found and downloaded via the search box. When you search for content, it's not immediately obvious whether the programme is available via…

HDMI issue on replacement LG tv
Hi all, We bought an LG 43UK6950PLB TV from Currys 10 days ago. The day after we got it home, HDMI 4 stopped sending a signal, although the TV detected it was plugged in. We got that TV replaced. Now the replacement TV has developed the same symptoms. The cables are brand new and we use all 4 of the ports. If I move the…

Cheap live TV without an aerial
Hi folks. I'm slightly baffled that this is such a complex problem in 2019 but here we are. I'm in a rented flat and the Virgin contract is coming to an end. I don't want to lock myself into another 12 months and also don't want to pay the hiked price. In fact, saving money would be lovely. I'd be happy to just get…

Sky Price Increase Query
Like just about every other sky subscriber I’ve now had my sky price increase notification letter. I had an odd query about the notification, It states in the box a £2 increase for variety and £1 increase for sky q multiscreen. It states within the text “the price of your package may be different than what’s shown above.”…

Watching Premiership Sports
Hi, Not sure if this topic will be allowed but its worth a go :) I currently enjoy watching the Rugby live streams via Bet365 as it saves me paying out for BT Sport :) Does anyone know of any similar betting sites that may stream UK Premiership football? Thanks in advance.

TV broadcast regulations
I am not sure if this is a relevant question for this forum, excuse if not. I watch a number of foreign asian channels on Sky. But these channels really take the mickey how they broadcast their programmes and commercials. The commercials can be upto 20mins at times. Some of them take breaks at xx:50 and then programme…

Do I need the coaxial cable?
Hi - just wondering, how important is the coaxial/aerial cable still, or is broadband enough to watch most/all TV these days? I am planning to move things around in my flat and it would greatly help if the TV didn't need to be connected to the aerial cable. Am I going to miss out on much TV? Most things these days seem to…

How to setup Freeview Play on LG smart tv
I have a 2017 LG Smart tv. I also have a co-ax point in the wall behind it which leads to an aerial in the roof. I had to move tv out from the wall recently and took the opportunity to connect a co-ax cable between the wall co-ax socket and the co-ax socket on my tv. The LG user guide says that my tv supports FreeviewPlay…

BBC Sounds app
The BBC Sounds App requires you to open a BBC Account. I do not have a TV and don't use the iPlayer because the Beeb will assume I'm watching TV rather than catching up on radio slots I've missed. Does the Sounds app only work for radio catch-up or will I have to go through yet another check-up to prove there's no TV here?
