Free Sky or Freesat? Advice needed
We have decided to stop paying for Sky tv. The question is – which is better – just cancel subscription and get the free channels or change to Freesat? We need to keep the satellite aerial and want to record and use catch-up. The Sky box is the old model not the Q version. Any advice out there?

Cancelling Sky, but still want record function
I am going to cancel Sky as I don't want any of the channels except Freeview and my kids are happy with Netflix. But I like recording programmes from BBC1 etc. Can I just buy a recordable box from somewhere? It doesn't need to have a load of storage, just so that I can watch programmes at a later date.

Repair or replace?
I have a Phillips ambillight TV. Its UHD 4K. HDR . 2 years old. Warranty just ran out . Works fine but has patches on the screen that are only noticeable when it's a white background. Seems a shame to bin it if it's a cheap fix . Any ideas anyone ?

Where have we mislaid our remote control to?
Oh well, it has cost me about a tenner today to send off for a replacement remote control for our bedroom tv. If the other one turns up, it will be quite handy to have one on both sides of our double bed, so no real harm done. The thing is, though, where the blazes has it gone to? We now have the most immaculately clean &…

Brexit & Broadcasting
every time I watch BBC news it is anti-brexit, waited panels on news night pre-selected questions and not letting brexiteers speak. Hate the bbc hate the bias. so Netflix for me.
