Surprised at how little Virgin can offer. Who's best for Sky F1?

For a living I'm in IT, and I often have to speak to Sky, BT, TalkTalk etc to save my customers money. They're normally on a package that hasn't been updated for a year or two and generally, a decent monthly amount can be saved with the usual common sense techniques. So basically, I'm not new to attend, mpting to achieve the best possible deal.
However, I've been with Virgin Media since January 2019 and the time came to renew. I've had a lot going on with an ill family member so I ended up paying the full rate for one or two months, but finally found the time today, to call them and try to retain a better deal with them.
I was paying Virgin's "introductory offer" of £89/m all last year, and I had the full VIP everything-to-get-you-to-buy-our-package scenario. It included their fastest broadband, all the Sports which included F1, movies etc. To keep the identical package for the next 12 months, I was offered it at £93.50/m. However, I find the selection of movies to be useless, and in terms of sports, I solely watch Sky Sports F1. Nothing else at all. So I approached with the scenario of removing the movies, and just keeping channels like Sky One, and keeping the Sports channels solely for the F1. This increased the price to £97.50, only offered me Standard Definition sports and reduced my broadband speed! So less would be costing me more.
I'm annoyed to be honest. I don't want to come across as moaning (sorry if I am; I'm very aware TV is a first world issue), but it feels like there's no ability to reduce the package, and in a way, it's either you pay that, or you leave. It seems silly to me with all the competition rules out there etc. They said to me at the beginning of the call they would look to "tailor a package" but in the end, they were useless in this regard. I asked to speak to a supervisor but of course they "weren't available". I was then told "if you send us an email, a manager might call you".
So I've cancelled with a month's notice and I'm now debating what to do.
1) Pay the £93.50/m and stop "moaning"
2) Wait a couple of weeks and see if a better deal is possible now I've cancelled
3) Move to another provider but lose the very fast Broadband (handy for my work but I could live with the ADSL speeds out there)
If 3, who would be best for the option of Sky One and Sky Sports F1, as that's mostly all we watch now we have Netflix.

Have you thought of getting rid of the TV package and subscribing to Now TV instead?
The Entertainment pass has Sky One and the Sports pass has Sky Sports F1.1
