Cashback on Sky - new account after separation

Hi, I've had a scroll through but can't find anything that answers this question - apologies if I've missed it.
We have a sky package at the moment for TV, broadband and landline, in husband's name. We've recently separated, so he's cancelled his account, with effect from 15th Feb.
I've tried to get a quote for an account in my name through top cashback, but I can't get one because when I put my address in, the sky website is stating that I already have tv etc at this address. Which is true, I do - at the moment.
I don't particularly want to ring them to change it as I want to get the cashback, it looks as though I'll get £85 and I don't want to miss out on that.
Will I have to wait for the current package to run out on the 15th? Thanks

If you want the cashback you will have to wait until the current account has run out and unless the name you use to reapply is different they still may not let it go through.
I assume that you will be using a different bank account for the payments as well?0 -
Thanks for replying:). I thought that might be the case. The account will be in my name rather than ex-husband's and from a different account, so hopefully I'll still be able to get some sort of new customer deal. If not, I'll shop around!:rolleyes:0
