Egg Money Methods
Hi Folks, Been lurking here and at stoozing.com for nearly a week now building up my knowledge on stoozing and about to give it a go. I was initially going to go for a slow stooze and have applied for a barclaycard platinum with 0% on purchases for 12 months (approved and on its way) and a post office easy access saver to…

Should I cancel credit card when 0% offer ends?
I'm sure this question has been asked before but I can't find an answer. Can anyone tell me if I should cancel my Tesco credit card now that the year's 0% on purchases has ended. I have paid it off and now use the Virgin offer. Can I cancel it and apply for it again at a later date as a new customer I wonder? Many thanks

Mortgage Stooze
I know there's a few threads dealing with this subject but I thought I'd see whether anyone has any success/horror stories with this particular tactic. I'm 1 month into the 12months interest free period for purchases on a Barclaycard Platinum. I called their customer services last night to check whether a mortgage payment…

Newbie needs clarification re. Egg Money - stoozing
Hi All, I'm a bit confused: I've had an 'Egg Money' card (it's green at the moment) for years, but have never used it. Egg tell me that my credit limit is £1,500. I could borrow 95% of this amount from them. The minimum amount I would need to pay back to them would be 2% of the balance per month if providing I pay all the…

Time between 0% MBNA Cards
What's the percieved wisdom at the moment for the time to wait between closing a MBNA 0% CC account and applying for the next 0% MBNA offer? I had a Virgin card which I cancelled after the 0% deal finished in July 2009, when would you recommend applying for the next one without risk of being turned down or getting a poor…
