tescos 0% purchase only credit card

hi i wonder if anybody can help ,we got a 0% purchase only credit card (tescos)and we wish to settle our car loan , if we use this card to pay this loan off, would it be classed as a purchase at 0% or would it be classed as something else .thanks

    Loan companies won't normally let you settle a loan with a credit card
    The only way you can do this is with a card that allows Super Balance Transfers; which allows you to transfer money into your bank account which would then enable you to pay off the loan

    normally i would ask for a settlement figure from the loan people who then would send us a paying in slip with the final amount ,therefore could you use the card to pay it of
