Choice between Barclaycard Plat or MBNA Plat Plus

Hi All,

I'm looking to get back on the stooze and have narrowed my choice to between the Barclaycard Platinum and MBNA Platinum. My inclination is to go for the MBNA but before I make my application I thought I'd tap into the collective wisdom here first. Aside from what's advertised does anyone have any anecdotal info regarding which of them will give the best credit limits, ease of being accepted etc? FWIW, I have been on a previous 0% MBNA deal around 19 months ago but no longer have the account.

Any comments/suggestions or are much of a muchness?

Hi,thought you should know,I have both these cards and Natwest gives a better credit limit than those.Be careful with them as they do NOT send you a statement and are quite happy when your payment is a day or so late,due to them not sending one.They immediately send you a late charge,ok,your fault,but the big con is when they put you on an interest charge every month instead of your original agreement of 0%.This has happened to me twice irrespective of me paying more than required and more often than required.They don't seem to take this into consideration.:(
