Do i keep these cards or not?

I have Amex + tesco cc. I used these both to book a holiday/trips etc for our holiday to Asia & New zealand.
If i got rid of both cards would that have any effect if i had any problems with the holiday/trips etc that i booked. If i had to claim for anything would it be harder to make any claims.
Hope this makes sense. Cheers for any replies.
