Lloyd's Duo credit card with Avios rewards
 I applied for the Duo cards under the 15000 points bonus on the AMEX card. As the qualifying dates & start date we're not clear I called Lloyd's. The guy told me that due to the multitude of start dates what they did was to calculate the AVERAGE spend over the first 3 months. In the first 3 months I spent around…

This may be an obvious question but want to double check. I want to purchase something with a credit card but it needs to be purchased with cash (personal training sessions). Balance transfer, or pay off card with investments?
I wish to stooze and put the money into HL funds, which I can sell anytime and have in my bank account within a week. Would it be entirely practicable to, when the 0% period expires to sell the investments, pay off the card, and begin again with the next card? The object here would be to avoid the balance transfer fee.

Is stoozing and credit rating building mutually exclusive?
I'm building a good credit file. I was in an overdraft for 3 years straight; I've had no defaults for two years now and had credit cards for one year. Credit rating (although unauthoritive): 793. That is my first priority. Money-making comes second. I have two credit cards, total limit of £4,300. If I stooze at less than…

Credit rating 'improving' credit cards
I have recently finished paying off my 3 year obligations to the appointed receiver having been made bankrupt back in 2010. I have a secure and well paid job. I wanted to improve my credit rating so I subscribed to Experian to see what the situation was and to my surprise my credit rating was 'Fair'. They pointed me…

Bad credit score
I had an excellent credit score but suddenly find that my score has dropped therefore i can no longer get the balance transfer deals that are on the market. Now I am having to pay the standard interest fees. Is this because I keep switching from deal to deal to get the interest free options?

Hi, I need to get my hands on about £12K for a few days, but I don't want to show up on a credit check (I want to pay for my stamp duty on a house purchase, as money from family will take a few weeks to filter through, and I don't want the mortgage company's credit check on the day of completion to find this out) - will…

My "Stoozing" Success!
Hello All, So, over the past two years, I have been "Stoozing". I had a few reasons for doing this. 1) I had never had a credit card, and had heard that having one would improve my credit rating. 2) I fancied seeing if I could make a bit of extra cash. 3) I've always enjoyed having cards in my purse - loyalty cards, bank…
