Stooze to bank account
Hello. Been offered from Barclaycard Bank transfers - fee 1.9% until next year. So transfer what I have on my BC which is around 1500 to Nationwide where I get 5% per month. Good idea? Does this has any affect on your credit score? Thank you :-)

Stooze transfer issue
Hi, I have two stooze credit cards. One is a Barclaycard with a balance of £8,000 and the other is an M&S card with a balance of £5k. The M&S 0% offer ends in January 2014 and the Barclaycard offer ends in February 2014. Last night I decided I would try and transfer the M&S balance to a Lloyds 24 months 0% interest deal.…

Lloyds Fob Off
As a serious stoozer of many years I took out the Lloyds 0% balance transfer for 15 months on 15 Oct 12 on a 1.5% fee as a no brainer as we recently, as a household, would make just less than 5% on Nationwide Flex for a non taxpayer. My Oct 13 statement said 0% interest for the next month, as expected. However just got my…

Stoozing for a house purchase... possible?
Are cards still available where you can get a large cash sum up front for 12 to 18 months interest free (are these Super Balance Transfer cards?), or don't they exist any more? I had a look here, but the credit limits listed are very low or they have high "handling fees":…

any way to fast stooze into a mortgage...?
Stupid question perhaps and I'm guessing "just slow stooze it" is the right answer, but I was wondering if anyone had managed to convince Britannia/Co-op to take a lump sum overpayment from a credit card, and have it show as a purchase on the cc statement? That 16 month 0% card with Tesco looks like a bit of a winner,…

Transferring within cards
I have a balance on my card of around the £1000 mark, which varies around this near enough. I am out of interest free period but don't want to change cards at the moment as we are going to re-do our mortgage and don't want to have anything affect our credit score before this is done. My current card issuer has an offer of…

opening a 2nd card with the same bank for stoozing?
Hi people, I have a barclaycard which I was using for stoozing some time back - the interest free has run out and I have paid it off & put the direct debit to pay in full per month because I like the ability to use it for wireless payments... However, just looked to see if I can get another 0% card in conjunction with my…

Stoozing from my CC
Hello all, Yesterday I received a letter from my credit card (Barclaycard) offering me a 90% money transfer of my credit limit to my current account, minus any outstanding balances on my CC (£6000 credit limit). This is at 0% until May 2014, with 1.9% fee. This got me wondering whether I could make some profit by stoozing…

Positive CC balance
Just want to run this past someone to make sure it’s possible before I proceed. I have a Santander 123 account and a Natwest credit card with £4000 available, together with 27 months 0% on balance transfers. I called them to see if they could transfer the balance into my Santander account but the operative told me it would…

Freedom Reward Cards
Thinking about changing my Barclaycard for one of these. Does anyone have any opinion on them? They have a deal on that if you spend £300 in first 3 months you get £30 of vouchers. Plan would be to use it instead of debit card for groceries- paying balance in full.

June offer: Natwest, Mint (probably Tesco & RBS too)
I get these letters incessantly - 12 months for balance transfers with 4% fee. This month it has changed to include 'money transfers' [aka 'Super Balance Transfer'] also at 0% and the fee has reduced to 3% Nothing special with interest rates so low, but this is welcome.

Extended Balance Transfer
My balance transfer will come to an end in January. I then intend to move the remaining balance to another 0% card if possible, however I was wondering why none of the lenders offer to extend your current 0% period and charge you the fee again on the remaining balance? I am aware they wish to charge you interest at the end…
