Credit card help please
Hi, I have never had a credit card before but want to clear my £2800 overdraft as I am getting £50 charges a month(I can pay back £100 a month). I heard that some credit cards can put money in your account for 0% interest for a certain amount of time. Would anyone know the best one to apply for please? Thanks.

Hi, I understand the concept of stoozing and am more than willing to give it a go but I was wondering how much the extra income would affect your tax credit payments. as all interest unless its an ISA (which all have rubbish interest rates compared to the current accounts on offer). Credit Card Balance Transfer Calculator
I've created a spread sheet which will calculate the profit you could make from transferring a balance to a 0% interest credit card. It's a bit more advanced than Martin's tool as it takes into account minimum payments and the balance transfer fee. You can find it here: docs.google.com/file/d/0BwPJX3voKe5CTXZzLVR4OW04Z3M/…
