Hi,
I have a few issues for which I need some adivce and information.
I have a tsb credit card with a limit of 2300 pounds on 19 percent apr. I wanted to ask if I can phone up my bank and reduce my limit and try to get a different credit card else where that gives me points or money in return for me using their credit card as I dont get any other benifit with the tsb card.
please help.

Yes you can reduce the limit on that card if you are not using it and want to.

Whether you will be accepted on these cards depends on your financial circumstances and credit history. Reducing the relatively small limit on your current card probably won't make much difference as to whether you will be accepted for a new card.
As you have mentioned the APR - if you are going to be repaying the card in full each month then the APR is irrelevant. If you are not then the interest on the cards will probably cost you more than you will earn in cashback or rewards, in which case you may be better looking for a card with a low APR or a promotional APR.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0
