Rejected by Nationwide for PPI claim in 2011. Can I Reclaim?
My PPI claim was rejected by Nationwide in 2011 who said that I was fairly sold the policy face to face in branch which I had no recollection of as didn't even know I was paying it. I now know I should have gone to the ombudsman at the time but didn't as the bank letter made me think I was in the wrong. Having complained…

Will Barclays waiver my unpaid payment fee?
I actually work for Barclays and I'm a little disappointed in them. I get paid on the 23rd of each month and have my first lot of bills taken out on the 25th of each month (one direct debit for the council tax, and two standing orders - one for the rent, and one for a transfer of monies to a Santander savings account). I…

ppi success
Have had a letter from RBS offering over £250 for mis-sold ppi dating from 1997-2005. Was so close to using a claims company until I re-read your newsletter and decided that I could do it myself and not give some stranger 30%! Now very glad that I did. Thank you.

Financial Ombudsman appearing at a circus near you
I've just had the Financial Ombudsman make a decision against me and my complaint with RBS based on him being able to 'read my mind' and making 'assumptions' about what I 'might have said' and 'might have done' 15 years ago using documents I've never seen. I didn't know that this was a legitimate process and methods for…
