natwest sar request

So annoyed sat down to go through the natwest sar information my hubbys been provided with for his account and guess what sent me everything but a list of transactions! how annoying

    They only send what they have kept on file for you. If they no longer have the transaction history, you won't/can't get it.

    Did you ask them specifically to provide transactions as part of the SAR request?

    i did specifically ask using one of the letters on here. And I was under the impression that they hold information for 6 years the account was closed in 2011.

    Write and complain that all information was not included.

    All information may not be held for 6 years if the account is settled and closed.

    Or was this for a different account that coincidentally was also closed in 2011?

    Edit2: No point trying to request a refund of bank charges on an account that was closed in 2011.
    As per MSE article, reclaiming is now mored or less limited to those in current financial hardship and where the application of charges is compounding the situation.
