Reclaim interest and charges for forgotten old account
Hi, I have an account with Barclays that I haven't used for 4 or 5 years. It is a joint account between myself and an ex partner. The address on the account should be the one she lives (lived) at. I found an old statement from 2 years ago that said the account was £50 in arrears so I thought I'd give them a ring to pay off…

I have insured with Sentinal for donkeys years. I originally joined through my co-operative bank where I still have an account. I then continued to pay my renewal direct to Sentinal. RBS PPI claim offset against debt
Hi I have had a RBS PPI claim upheld for £1287. The letter I signed said any arrears on debts held with the RBS group maybe offset against the money owed. I don't have any arrears but I do still have an overdraft with Natwest. It's within its agreed limits and no issues with running my account. I returned the signed…

Think Money Bank Account
Has anybody had any experience with claiming back the monthly fee for accounts with think money? You don't actually get any extras for the fee, just that they keep your direct debit money separate and that you can't go overdrawn.

Lloyds package £25pm for free overdraft
I've been paying £25 per month for a couple of years to qualify for Lloyds' max interest free overdraft of £500. However half way through they have reduced my limit to £400 which has on occasion led to bank charges when an unexpected payment has gone out/ had to be made etc. I have registered for the mobile phone…

handling phone call from halifax claims handler
Has anyone got any experience or advice on taking a phone call from a Halifax claims handler when you claim for miss selling of a reward account? I'm worried about the call as I'm sure they'll have a load of things in front of them to try and get out of the mis selling. Can you request that they only contact you by email?

Plevin - excuse to delay?
I have 4 ongoing complaints to Nawest/RBS for misold PPI. I should have had a decision by this week, however, I've just been told that I will not receive a decision until "Spring 2016" at the earliest as my case is "Plevin - affected". I understand this is something relating to the Supreme Court decision and a subsequent…

Is being Partially Sighted a "Medical Condition"
I know that's a strange question, but I am doing some PPI claim forms and it asked about existing medical conditions. Are bank charges (payback) still likely?
Just phoned the bank asking how much bank charges I have had since I opened my account in, Jan 2010. The man said he would check to see if he can find out but came back and said it was not possible. He then asked me why I wanted to know. I told him that, I am disabled, on a low income, and that I know people in my…
