Bank Charges Refund

Hello

About 13 years ago, my bank charges exceeded £7,000 over 6 years and as you can imagine financially i was in a mess which i managed to get out of.
About 8 years ago I applied to have my charges refunded & was refused. I know a lot has changed legally since then & was wondering if I can apply to be refunded again or does the refusal still stand?

Thanks for any help.

Yes. the banks won the court case in 2009.

They are only required to look at CURRENT financial hardship cases. Not historic.
