RyanAir flight release for Winter 2023/24
RyanAir don't seem to have flights from Manchester to Funchal from November onwards, yet have flights to other destinations (e.g. Spain) for that period. Other destinations such as Eastern Europe are not available from November onwards too - so I wondered if RyanAir have only partially released winter flights. Does anyone…

Cost effective passport renewal while travelling every few weeks
My passport is going to expire in half a year, so time to get a new one. The issue is I may have to travel every few weeks, so cannot wait for 12 weeks. Is there a cost-effective (sic!) way to apply for a new passport, maybe having the old one still active until civil servants eventually finish their strikes and print out…

Last Minute.com travel extra pack
Hi, I am thinking about booking a city break with Last Minute.com. It wants me to add a travel extra pack which discounts the holiday. It appears there is no cost, but I am worried I am signing up to some sort of contract with future payments. Does anyone know what this travel extra pack actually is?

Post Office Travel Moneycard for public transport in The Netherlands
I know it's probably too much to hope for anyone to have the exact experience I need; but here I am hoping anyway. Refused Travel with 9 Year Old Passport and 6 Months Left After Return
I was refused boarding a plane to Greece on Tuesday, they said passport is over 10 years (it’s not, it’s 9 years, 10 in September) owing to Brexit rules. Also my research including this site said 3 months validity on passport from return, mine has 6. Who would I make the complaint to? I don’t hold out hope that…

Annual travel insurance policy ends before cruise that's booked
I've sent a query to the company but the auto reply says it may be 5 days before they reply.....so I'll ask here. I got an annual policy to ensure we were covered for a recent holiday. It was about £20 more to get an annual policy as opposed to just for that holiday we were taking last month. OH has booked us on a cruise…

Calling the UK from South Korea
I have a two week trip booked and have been trying to look at the cheapest method of dialling UK landline numbers from South Korea. I will need to pick up messages from my mobile and landline whilst away. The costs are extortionate if just dialling from your mobile home. Anyone have any tips on the cheapest way to do it? I…

I'm looking for travel insurance that would cover me in the event of having to cut short/cancel a holiday abroad... my mother has cancer, and is living with it, it is treatable, but is not curable so inevitably, and sadly, she will decline at some point, (she is 80 years old now). I have a couple of holidays booked but am…
