TUI online check-in?
Hi. Has anyone flown from the UK to the EU recently with TUI? I am wondering when (if at all) it is possible to check-in online (TUI flight - booked with TUI). There is conflicting information. A post on this forum (from back in 2020) says it is not possible until 24 hours before your flight. However the TUI website says…

Ryanair now validating passports via app
Some good news for a change. I’m US and every time I fly with Ryanair I have to present myself to either their kiosk or checkin desk to have my passport validated, in both directions. This is quite annoying as I have to printout a boarding card so can’t use the app, and even travelling hand luggage only still have to join…

Massive Delay in BA Refund
On 6 March I tried to book a flight for a colleague (something I do regularly) directly with BA. At the final payment point, after I had inputted the credit card details, the page did not load and basically was in limbo. I waited for about 15 minutes and gave up and restarted the booking process. I was confident that would…

There are motorways, but many, if not all have tolls. he doesn't really want to be driving near Paris, which is probably pretty hectic at the best of times, but with the Olympics soon, possibly even worse Which…

Saga Cancelled our travel insurance
I’m 64. I advised Saga that I’d recently undergone treatment for an Ocular Melanoma (90-95% success rate), but instead of possibly increasing the cost of our (my wife and I) yearly cover, they s completely cancelled it leaving us without cover and with holidays coming up. Worse than that as the cover is only 2 months old,…

How to contact TUI about complaint?
Won't go in to too many details. * Spent £1,000 on an excursion for 5 people in Mexico. * Coach didn't turn up for us. Hours of phone calls later, and agreed to get taxi and be reimbursed. * They dealt with it as a complaint, and sent out an email with link to claim £45 reimbursement. * Due to being caught up in Hurricane…

Denied Boarding - 10 year issue date Brexit Rule
Hi Money Saving Experts, This is a long shot, but I was denied boarding on a Ryan Air flight due to the 10 year rule from issue date. I still had 5 months left (until December) so my passport honoured the 3 month rule for EU travel, but this new rule since Brexit was one I was completely unfamiliar with. I was 10 years and…

Camping chairs and EasyJet
Anybody know if you can take folding camping chairs on EasyJet flights? Would they count as extra hold bags/sporting equipment? The sort that fold up into a rectangle approx. one metre long and carried over shoulder. Just wondering if we might be better off purchasing them at our destination rather than paying high luggage…

Holidaying/cruising solo - any tips/bargains etc
Hi I am opening this thread for any other forum members that regularly take holiday/cruise by themselves. I 'mostly' holiday solo through choice and I love it . However, I am getting increasingly cheesed off with the extortionate prices most holiday and cruise companies charge for 1 person travelling. It seems to be worse…
