EasyJet holidays incorrect resort details

Does anyone have any advice on where we stand on this? We received it 3 weeks before we go on holiday and they refuse to offer any compensation, and it’s too late to organise an alternative holiday for an equivalent price. Other forums show that people have had this at 1 days notice before they go on holiday. Surely it’s false advertising ? T&Cs state any significant changes to holiday result in compensation .  When we called them they either cut us off or refused to do anything including allowing us to speak to a a manager

It was a mistake in the description and you haven't actually been moved to a hotel of a lower standard, therefore compensation does not appear to be on the cards.

There is an alternative spa available and still several a la carte dining options.

They have outlined your options, so it's your choice.

If I was you I'd go and enjoy your holiday.

    Hardly fair.

People pay a premium for the star ratings. OP may have paid extra believing they would receive what was offered

OP does their current advert still show them advertising everything you thought you had paid for?

Do you still want to go? Or are you seeking a refund and compensation.

Stop calling and put your complaint in writing

But the holiday price may have been based on a 5* rating rather than a 4 star.

Easyjet are also offering less eating options and the possible inconvenience of having to go next door to use the spa/gym.
I've never been to a Red Sea resort but I understand that some are in fairly large grounds which might involve a bit of a trek between hotels.
Easyjet have not mentioned any change in AI drinks availability - but that doesn't mean there aren't any.

The holiday price will have been based on the contracted rates easyJet Holidays have negotiated with the hotel. These will then be dynamic based on dates, supply/demand, flight availability etc.

As you though they aren't providing the range of restaurants, and the spa may now be a bit of a walk, but that's unlikely to be a significant change triggering compensation.

If anybody has bothered to look at the description, further a la carte restaurants are planned, so it looks like a simple case of whoever wrote the description got their numbers wrong, along with the official rating.

The OP was happy with the price so if they want to upgrade to a 5 star resort they'll have to pay the difference.

I've been a bit bored today, all the operators that feature this property and the hotel group website have the drinks availability as per the email.

Is it an Islamic thing: alcohol only between 10am and 12 am?

Not really, many all inclusive hotels even in Spain dont have booze on tap 24 hours a day and end it at midnight when the bars presumably close.

No, I think that’s the alcohol times in UK too.

I hate the uncertainty of 12am!

The alcohol serving hours are actually 1000 to 2400
