Travel insurance dilemma

I usually buy an annual, family travel insurance policy covering Europe but this year things are a little different. I have 2 children who will be 18 and 19 this year and also travelling separate to us. We are all travelling further afield also this year, 1 to Australia, 3 to USA and I’m also going on one cruise and to Canada. My seperate trip is much more costly than our usual budget and I need cancellation cover over £10k, but this is a one off.
My dilemma is what type of policies do I get?
1. a group world multi trip policy for all 4 with cruise cover that covers the higher cancellation cost.
2. a group policy for all 4 without cruise cover but insure my costly trip as a single trip separately.
3. 4 individual multi trip policies (mine with cruise cover).
4. a group multi trip for the others without cruise cover and a multi with cruise cover for me.
Also, there are pre-existing medical conditions for myself.
I suffer with mental fatigue (brain tumour) so the thoughts of all those quotes and comparisons is blowing my mind.

First point to check is whether your children will be covered if travelling alone.

I would guess that individual policies for them should be easy to price up, so do that first then compare with a couple policy vs whole family policy.

the difference between cruise policies and general policies, is that cruise policies provide cover if stops are removed or the route changed. Whereas normal policy will cover the cost of a cruise without those elements, so it depends on whether you intend doing the cruise come what may or if a change would mean you would like to cancel the cruise.
