I've used a comparison site for travel insurance, I have medical issues but nothing terminal and the search has brought up Gigasure. I'm liking their set up, the policy, having an app etc but I've never actually heard of them.
According to Google they're in London and are on trust pilot but only have 35 reviews so I'm hoping someone or several someone's have used them or know more about them?

I've never heard of them and the fact that they have so few reviews suggests that they're new/small. Even if a handful of people have had good experiences with them, due to the small sample size it doesn't give yo a lot of confidence in them. Personally I'd recommend InsureAndGo. You need to get the right balance between the policy, the customer service and the price.1

Having a Quick Look at their policy... they are just the sellers of the insurance.
Any claims are handled by International Medical Group and the actual insurer (the one taking the financial risk) is SiriusPoint International Insurance Corporation based in Sweden2 -
I've just purchased my Travel Insurance with them through a comparison site. As with any insurance, until you claim you don't really know how good they are. However, I found that purchasing the insurance, even with my numerous medical conditions, was really easy and the app is handy to have and well designed. At 68 years old and wanting 45 days cover on an annual insurance they were about £30 cheaper than my current insurer and several hundred pounds cheaper than some of the bigger UK companies that appeared on the comparison site quote list.0
