Package or separate holiday-travelling from two different countries
Is it possible to arrange a package holiday when each person is travelling from a different country? Or are separate flights/accomodation the only option? Also, can separate travel insurance policies be linked in the event of a claim by either party? Thank you in advance.

re. cruise cover on a future trip (post insurance renewal)
I have a current European annual policy which expires in January. It doesn't include cruise cover. I am looking at a possible 3 day cruise in March. I know I will have to add cruise cover to any renewal but why is it a requirement to add it to my current annual policy to cover any cancellation before the end of January?…

Urgent Advice needed Valencia
Hi, I’m due to go to Valencia next week (14/11/24) and given the situation out there, it won’t be a holiday (we’ll be trapped in our hotel) as far as I’m aware the local authorities in Valencia region are saying not to travel unless essential, however Thomas Cook are saying it’s fine to travel and won’t help us out. Thomas…

Villa booked via Expedia told us to leave but no refund
We booked a week in a self-catering villa in Greece via Expedia as a stand alone booking (flights were booked separately). Our first night there wasn't great and we barely slept a wink due to poor mattresses and the solar panel and water tank on the roof banging around all night. We asked for help from the owner to resolve…

When do Avios flights make sense?
Looking at the MSE article on boosting Avios points: https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/travel/boost-avios-points/ It says that a New York return can be had for 40,000 points peak or 26,000 points off-peak. Using credit card abroad
I'll be taking my Halifax Clarity card with me overseas (outside Europe, not the US) with me and in the past have had issues with it. Their website says you don't need to tell them that you are going abroad, but clearly you do because you often find it gets blocked. I think part of the issue is that they think transactions…
