Can you join a London-Amsterdam Eurostar in Brussels?

A relative in travelling London-Amsterdam on Eurostar and we want to join the same train in Brussels, but the train times make it look like it isn't possible. On 21 November, ES 9126 leaves London at 1104, arrives in Brussels at 1405 and arrives in Amsterdam at 1644. But there is no Brussels departure for Amsterdam between 1353 and 1553. I've looked at other trains/dates and it seems the same pattern.

But the xx22 trains do not seem to be available for sale https://www.eurostar.com/search/uk-en?adult=1&origin=8814001&destination=8400058&outbound=2025-11-21. Even looking forward to 5 May (randomly chosen) there are six xx22 trains from Brussels to Amsterdam but only one is for sale.

Can't even see an option looking at a Belgian site

Perhaps Eurostar are only selling London to Amsterdam or London to Brussels tickets.

That departure is more expensive to Brussels than it is to Amsterdam.  Perhaps there is an operational reason that they don't want too many people leaving the service and no one joining the service at Brussels.  Could it be to keep to the timetable?

Probably easier for your relative to book Eurostar to Brussels and you meet up on the platform and take a different train together to Amsterdam

She doesn't do that kind of stuff! She's 95 and will have special assistance to board at St Pancras. Incidentally, Eurostar's special assistance is excellent, and they are incredibly helpful when booking it on email.

Eurostar in general is fairly good. My only irritation, which I fully accept is both first world issue and no necessarily rational, is that they have separated the right to use their business lounge from the right to enter early. So a business class ticket holder can pass the barriers early and then go into the lounge. Whereas if you have a standard ticket but 3rd tier membership you can only go past the barriers at normal times but can use the lounge once inside.

Have been to St.Panc a few times early with the intent of doing some work but the station is mobbed so nowhere to sit with a laptop

I assume you meant "you can only go past the barriers at normal times but can NOT use the lounge once inside." Well, quite right too. Who should the premium ticket holders have to share their space with the hoi polloi gorging themselves on two hours of free goodies they have not paid for? The main waiting area can indeed be very crowded, but there are plenty of cafes in the main (pre-check in) concourse where you can sit with your laptop.
