Mexico Passport - Duration of Stay OR 180 Days
The GOV website says: "To enter Mexico, your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay." Simple as that, clear as day. The next line then reads: "The Mexican Embassy in the UK recommends passports be valid for at least 180 days because this is the longest you can stay in Mexico as a tourist." ok, so that has now…

reasonable adjustments ? flight cancelled
We’ve just been told our flight for August 2026 has been cancelled and offered several options, but we have a severely disabled daughter they are aware of, and I don’t think any of these are lawful reasonable adjustments under the Equality Act. First, they want to move us from a small airport to Gatwick, but we need the…

Air BNB question
Up to now I've generally avoided Air BNB because I'm not really comfortable renting and staying in someone else's property that they still live in with all their personal possessions around. For this reason we always book dedicated holiday cottages/apartments etc. However, I've recently noticed a couple of holiday…

Coverwise Insurance : WARNING
I have just noticed that Coverwise are still being ‘promoted’ on the Travel Insurance section on MSE. A word of warning. They may give reasonable quotes and have lovely staff ( especially when taking out a policy ) but they are underwritten by AXA. They will do anything to reject a genuine claim. Have a look at Coverwise…

Using credit card at atm overseas
I understand that if I use my credit card overseas at an atm, interest is payable immediately on the amount. How can I pay off that amount immediately. I mean if my cc bill is 2,000 and I take 100 cash at an ATM, how do I pay off the 100, but not the 2000? 🤷

Wrong name on airline ticket
I have booked two flights Manchester to Rome in March 2026 via a well known agent. As soon as I booked I noticed my wife's first name was completely wrong. I hadn't written the wrong name, it must have auto generated but perhaps I didn't spot before confirming, or the system changed it after. I can't recall because this…

Ryanair and printed boarding passes
Can anyone tell me unequivocally whether they no longer allow customers to print boarding passes? This seems draconian (if typical). I have seen it stated that they are only stopping the facility for customers to ask THEM (Ryanair staff) to print boarding passes at the airport.

Travel Insurance - which policy in event of cancelation?
Hi, we are thinking of booking a cruise which is scheduled for March 2027. We normally get annual travel insurance. This booking will most probably be 2 policies ahead of our current one which will expire in the next 2 months. Now a lot can happen in that time eg things that could prevent you going so I was wondering in…
