Does Lebara mobile work in Canary Islands?
Anyone know if Lebara works in Fuerteventura? Seems some confusion over whether it’s classed as Spain or not! If so will be included in std roaming and can use like at home. Lebara agent not very helpful as to if it would work and connect to local network or not so just wondering if anyone has had any experience? Going in…

Summer travel to Turkey
Hi, Booked a family package holiday for eight people with TUI to Antalya in July. The balance is due at the end of April and with the Middle East situation not looking great at the moment what are my best options? I paid the deposit using my credit card and have travel insurance to cover my family of four. If it gets to…

Qatar Airways policy
The policy shown seems relevant to normal operations not the scenario we see today. 2 changes in 14 days from original booking are irrelevant. I’ve already had 3 flights cancelled and 14 days from our original booking will soon pass with no available flights (Sri Lanka to Heathrow) Could the Qatar policy be reviewed by the…

Lastminute.com dragging their feet over flight refunds
We booked to fly to the far east on 28 Feb, via Abu Dhabi. Shortly after we pushed back the flight returned to the gate and, long story short, we were eventually de-boarded and sent on our way home. I contacted Lastminute.com a couple of days later to enquire about a refund. Their initial response was that as Etihad had…

Transit Through Dubai
Having read the MSE article and the various comments on here I'm still confused about connecting flights through Dubai. We are booked on a package (flights and a tour) to Asia in a few weeks time, travelling from the UK and connecting in Dubai. We haven't heard from the tour operator yet (they're probably busy with earlier…

Etihad Non-refundable Ticket
Etihad says customers can request a refund on flights up to 21st March but the form asks you to confirm that you understand your fare rules and that a refund will only be processed if you are eligible. What has been the outcome for those with non-refundable tickets?

Does anyone know where to find the API on the Ryanair app?
Does anyone know where to find the API on the Ryanair app? After booking and paying for my flights on Ryanair, they then decided to change the terms and that I can only fly if I use the Ryan mobile app. I have installed the mobile app and it has scant information about my flights. I have just read that I must complete the…

Short transit time in Dubai
I am booked on a flight to Australia in two weeks time. Origionally the transit time at Dubai was nearly 2 hours but the flight time from Glasgow to Dubai has been extended, due to the new route they have to fly, and now I only have 1 hour 15 minutes. I am travelling business class so should be able to leave the pane…

My wife and 14-year-old daughter are currently stranded in Sri Lanka and I am at my wits' end trying to get them home safely. My daughter has cerebral palsy and this was meant to be a 10-day trip (26th Feb to 6th March). Things…

Ryanair and printed boarding passes
Can anyone tell me unequivocally whether they no longer allow customers to print boarding passes? This seems draconian (if typical). I have seen it stated that they are only stopping the facility for customers to ask THEM (Ryanair staff) to print boarding passes at the airport.

The car hire firm is AVIS and on their website…

Travel Disruption - Advice/Tips on Claims etc.
We have been impacted by the situation in the Middle East. Our travel disruption soon pales into insignificance when compared to a very real plight people caught up in the conflict are facing. We're looking for advice/tips for dealing with all the elements for quite a big trip. We've never claimed on travel insurance, I…

Recover costs from credit card company for cancelled trip to Middle East
Nationwide says "If you are unable to get a refund or reschedule your trip, you may be able to make a claim for cancellation costs. You may also be able to recover costs from your credit card company if this is how you paid for your trip." That surprises me. Would I really get a credit card company rather than travel…

How common are flight changes? And how much, if any, of a refund can you be looking at?
Having only dealt with flights once before (which went smoothly) we don't have any experience in this area. We've booked up to go away in the second half of the year. Yesterday my wife got notification that the flight times have changed to the point that the break would become pointless. No explanation as to why. We were…
