Turkey as a holiday destination
Me and my girlfriend are looking at holidays for us and our 1 year old for when we’ve got a week off booked at the beginning of October. Obviously due to the time of year we have to be more cautious about where we look at booking to ensure we get the nice weather. Originally we were looking at the Canary Islands but the…

Help! No no room at hotel!
I booked 2 weeks in a specific hotel abroad, arrived about midnight only to be told no room available for me. Hotel said it was the travel agents fault. Had to get moved to another hotel which was very stressful being late at night. The said it was a better hotel but we booked the original for a special reason. Stayed at…

Ryanair and printed boarding passes
Can anyone tell me unequivocally whether they no longer allow customers to print boarding passes? This seems draconian (if typical). I have seen it stated that they are only stopping the facility for customers to ask THEM (Ryanair staff) to print boarding passes at the airport.

Travel insurance when booking flights and accommodation separately
I am looking to book for us to go on holiday next year. My son has additional needs so due to this, we find package holidays don't really meet his needs, so I like to buy flights and accommodation separately. Today I was chatting to someone who warned me to be careful, as apparently travel insurance wouldn't pay out if…

Is it best to get public transport to the airport?
I'll start this off by saying I've never been abroad before. Well I have but once which was many years ago & I did none of the sorting, all I did was hand over my share of the payment. Am going to have to sort travel insurance & a random thought came to me - I wondered if it was better to get public transport (than have…

A bit of help - Cuba Visa
A friend who is travelling to Cuba at the end of June went online and purchased a Cuban visa from what appears to be a Google ad (www.cuba-evisits.org/). Jet2 "Discount Charged Back"
I booked flights to Kefalonia for 7 of us back in early March. Tragically my cousin died a few weeks ago and the rest of us couldn't face going back to her favourite place without her and her young daughter. I contacted Jet2 and they said that I could change the flights (dates, destination) for just a £40 admin fee. I…

Help needed – scam payments to "LOVEHOL-DOM" and nowhere left to turn
Hi all, I’m hoping someone here can offer advice or has been through something similar. Back in March, a relative of mine tried to book flights online through what she believed was Love Holidays. She spoke to someone on the phone, who then moved the conversation to WhatsApp to take payment — something we now know is not…
