Chinese pork loin steaks
Can anyone tell me the spices they put on the shop bought chinese pork loins that you can get in the supermarkets. I would like to buy just basic pork loin chops and flavour them myself, as not everyone likes them. Is it just chinese 5 spice? I am not sure it is but thought someone on here may know. Thank you all in advance

How long do your knives last you?
We splashed out on good knives 20 years ago, have had them professional sharpened a few times and sharpen them (badly I expect) at home too. I bought a new knife at the weekend (cheap £3 thing) and am amazed at how well it cuts, ie how bad our current knives are. How often to you change knives, and if it's a long time how…

Instant Pot Duo Crisp v Ninja Foodi Max 15 in 1 - Dithering too long to make decison!
I've been researching for both applicances and still can't decide which is better. What holding me back is the airfryer function and I'm not sure if both do its justice or if getting a separate airfryer is better? I've read the Instant Pot 8l airfryer compartment is a bit small and I've not seen the Ninja in person to make…

How can I "fix" old walking shoes.
I have a puppy that when very bored or hyper likes to bite my shoes, for that reason I don't wear my good shoes I got 2 months ago near her unless I have to go out and use a pair that has split at the side. They do they job despite looking very tatty but if I walk in a puddle I get a very wet and cold foot and puppy can…

How long can I make £187.15 last?
Hi all. This year I've been trying to keep our shopping bill, groceries, toiletries, cleaning products, etc, at £2460, for the year. I receive £1440 from DD1, we all share a house, and add £1200 to this. I am feeding seven of us at present, DD1, her husband and their three children, myself and OH. DD1 and DS-i-L1 do buy…

Kenwood A701A attachment converter
I'd like to know to know if some people tried to build a converter for modern attachments to the A701A? If not, I have access to CNC and 3D printer (with metal), what are the differences of the attachments between this model and the modern attachment?
