I have an iPhone XR. iOS 18.6.2. I have sounds checked for Messages (Anticipate), sometimes I get an alert, but often I do not. Any ideas?

Sky Mobile Activation issue
After reading about Skys £1.00 contract I've ordered two SIMS from Sky to move from Tescos. I can get onto my Sky account through website or app and it shows my SIMS as delivered which is correct. I go to the activate bit and I'm asked what SIMs I would like to order. Everywhere I read it should ask me if I want to…

A post about incoming calls problems with Moto G54.
My previous post was "EE telephone for technical support almost unresponsive" This post is long and please be patient. I really feel stressed about this. With much appreciated help from the EE Shop I learned that the previous problem was related to updates changing the way incoming calls are accepted (or rejected) on my…

How to access answerphone messages?
I missed 2 calls today and usually just press to notification dot and am given the options to listen to the message or delete it etc. I pressed clear all by accident, is there a way to access my answerphone to check for messages? It is a Moto G62 5G. I Googled it and was told to, "open the Phone app, tapping the three-dot…

Using eSIM on my phone for SO's banking apps and my physical SIM for my banking apps
I'm hoping someone with a good knowledge about eSIMs might be able to help — my SO lost their phone a few weeks back, and it was a total nightmare... New phone now, so all is good. BUT as I'm the one who does both mine and their banking online and using apps, would it be possible to put their mobile phone number on my…

EE telephone for technical support almost unresponsive
This is just my second post after rejoining MSE and I'll be glad of your opinion. For two days, as well as this morning, I have been trying to get through on 150 and 07953966150 for technical support. At first it says the call will be answered shortly, then 15 minutes, then 45 minutes then one hour. Latterly I have given…

No mobile signal for nearly a week Tesco Mobile
We're with Tesco Mobile and for nearly a week we've had no signal. Tesco mobile piggy back off O2. On checking the coverage thing for our area a message comes up: 'Sorry we're carrying out some upgrade work in this area.' Obviously we've no means of texting/calls. We have an elderly family member who we need to keep in…

Samsung/Lebara VoLTE setting
I have a A14 4G. Lebara sent me an email to say VoLTE is now available but nowhere on my phone settings (I've gone all over) is VoLTE or LTE (in any guise) shown. Is it automatic and defaulted? How do I prove I have it available now? thanks. PS NOT a Samsung A14 5G, my phone is a 4G version Android 15 and OneUI 7.0.

BT Pay Up Front for Life Mobile Contract
I am writing to state that my wife and me bought two of these SIM contracts in September 2001. They were quite expensive at the time £200 each and we decided upon the 50 minutes anytime per month in phone calls. We since held onto these SIM contracts because they are For LIFE, although O2 have tried to move us onto other…

Lebara daily mobile data usage calculations - is it calculated fairly?
I switched from AsdaMobile to Lebara in March 2025 (via the MSE Exclusive 10GB offer). My actual mobile data usage is low. The AsdaMobile calculations re my mobile data usage were always easy to verify. However, Lebara's calculations are much higher for similar usage and I find them difficult to work out. According to the…

Smart cellular.co.uk
DO NOT TRUST! I recently sent my iPhone 15 Pro to this company as they valued it at £795. On receipt a confirmation email confirming that they had received the device and they were going to classified it as brand new! I do look after my devices, but I did reply reminding them that the phone is twelve months old, as per the…

Beware of SMARTY. Be smarter.
There are a lot of good MNVOs with good customer service, rolling contracts and good account management systems (online or on an app). Using the MSE comparison tool has been great getting deals for Lebara (Vodafone). I would caution people using Smarty though. On initial inspection, Smarty has "good" reviews online, but…

Looking for an actual PAYG deal (not 30 days)
I have a dual sim phone and use Lebara for data and outgoing calls/messages (changing every 6 months for new deal prices). I have my 'old' number on a 2nd sim so the doctor's etc. can call me. Was on RWG (Now network) and paid £1 for the sim. Everything was fine until at some point I stopped receiving calls (but still get…

Samsung Galaxy Promotional Gift
Hi All I'm hoping this isn't a daft question as I know the actual answer which is "you must send it back" but there's a bit of confusion around it all from me. I purchased a new Samsung phone from SkyMobile online. Samsung are running a promotional offer whereby you can enter the phone details once received and they would…

Looking for a PAYG SIP calling package
I've dug out one of my old cell phones and would like to use it for SIP calling. Tried looking online for packages but it's a minefield. Comparison sites don't track SIP calling packages. I'm basically looking for a PAYG deal where perhaps I get so many free minutes a month and so many free texts. If I can choose my own…

Is it possible to dump Lebara just before reduction and sign up again later?
I am finally getting ready to dump Sky Mobile Lebarra seemed to be the best option but I have a question... If I take out a Lebara month to month contract with say 9 months at a reduced price and 3 months at a higher price, can I switch away in month 8 to Spasu for a month and then sign up with Lebara again on the same…

Lebara cancelling service?
I would like to cancel my Lebara service because I very rarely use their service. Is it correct that there is a £9.95 charge for sending me a registered letter for the cancellation? or is it a matter of just withdrawing my payment option from my account?
