What are the new roaming rules (O2 & Lebara)
Heading on holiday to an EU country shortly. We used to have Three contracts with 'feel at home' which made sense. Now, I have O2 & Lebara and Mrs B has LebaraI understand that roaming data is included in our contracts, but what about making and receiving calls - is that too?

Who uses Lebara as their main provider?
I'm currently on BT mobile and the 'discounted' price (£5 off for being a broadband customer) is £5.70 per month, with only 1Gb data and no international calls. Moving to Lebara looks to be more economical, but what, if any, are the downsides? Who uses Lebara as their main provider and do you have any problems at all?

Are rewards worth changing network for?
I've been absolutely obsessing over scouring over the cheapest way to get the iPhone 15 or preferrably, the iPhone 15 Pro (it's quite sad really). I'm currently on Sky Mobile (but don't have Sky Broadband and TV), and what's really attractive about them is their very generous data rollover... because my data usage really…

Sky Mobile Haggling
I've just paid my last payment on my device contract, and now want to get a new phone (I probably should have done it as a swap but I dithered too much). Has anyone had any success with haggling a better deal with Sky Mobile? Unfortunately, it is the latest handset that I want so I know my chances are reduced there. I was…

Tesco Mobile not worked since the 4th
As per title, had no signal in our home area due to work carried out on a mast. When contacting tesco Mobile, given one date only for this to be put back. Was due back on Saturday, now been out back until a week on Saturday. Apparently there is nothing Tesco can do and will not offer any compensation as they never…

Data SIM for mifi for Ring doorbell
Can anyone suggest the cheapest data only SIM for a mifi unit so that we can have a Ring doorbell or similar on an elderly relatives house. We need to ensure that carers have turned up as planned and that a family member does not need to make another visit. This is the only reason for needing internet. 02 and Vodafone are…

Calls keep going to voicemail - solved
I'm quite good with tech but am stumped by this. Somebody I know has a Samsung phone on Vodafone and whenever I try to ring them the call goes straight to voicemail as though their phone is switched off or in an area where there's no coverage. To me as the caller it sounds like the phone rings once then goes to the…

Mobile coverage checker
MSE offer a mobile signal checker that seems to be pretty arbitrary at best and so far I’ve found contradictory and thus pretty useless. I wonder if it is based on Ofcom’s offering who have been publicly roasted on forums like Trustpilot. I know and understand the excuses for signal variation (growing trees, suddenly…

O2 turning off original PUFFL SIM cards
There always used to be a few users of the "BTCellnet Pay Upfront For Life" deals from 2001/2002 era around here. O2 are switching off the original 2G SIM cards so 5G SIM cards are being sent out as replacements soon. Worth checking they still have the right address for you if, like me, you have moved house at some point…

When to schedule no. switch using PAC code?
I've just been completely frazzled by customer service from my current phone provider that I really can't deal with calling them again to clarify the situation, so thought I would come here to ask :) My current phone contract expires on 24th October. I have just received a PAC code after a lot of back and forth. I just…

WhatsApp Texting, How Do I Get Emoticon Hints As I Text?
As you type certain words, that are a match to or are appropriate to an emotican, you receive a hint like you receive "word hints". This is on WhatsApp. A friend's fone does it, but she's not sure why or how. For example:- the word "good" results in a hint for the emoticon "thumbs-up ". Both fones are Android. Thanks for…

My experience with Lebara and Lyca
My experience with Lebara and Lyca I've had terrible service from Lebara and Lyca. To be fair to them both, they can't possibly be that bad to everyone or they would have gone bust by now. I hope I was just unlucky somehow and things work out better for you. LEBARASigned up through MSE on a discount rate for the first six…

Are iPhones considered statues symbols in the UK?
I was reading on a Reddit post the new iPhone 15 is considered a status symbol in poor countries and people aspire to own them, but for me, it’s just normal having a iPhone 15 like many of my contemporary follow Britains. For poor countries it’s like a whole year of their income to buy one. For me I only have to save for 3…

10 year old 3 phone debt
My daughter's phone was stolen, 10 years ago now. She didn't have any insurance and didn't cancel the contract, neither did she report it properly. So, she just stop paying the contract and hoped for the best. I know, not the greatest idea and I only found out myself recently. She has dyslexia and finds all things like…
