Trying to decide which network to use I checked on this site and found EE and Vodafone for my address was 'poor' while O2 and 3 were 'good'.
However checking with vodafone's site it says 'good indoors and outdoors' for 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G.
Who to believe?
'Signalchecker' is different again: showing Vodafone 'good' except for 3G indoors ('no coverage')
Is there a definitive objective site one can use to check?

I've found the same when looking for 4g home broadband. O2 & EE show good signal for me, but they're not at all. The most reliable way is to find a friend(s) on other networks and test locally. Or get some free sim cards and test.

Vodafone switched off 3G earlier in the year, so the Vodafone site cant be right.

I've found Better Internet Dashboard to be more accurate for my area compared to Signalchecker.

Why don't you order a pay as you go sim for each network and test it out before fully committing?

The point made about WiFi calling is also a good one.

You also need a phone that supports wifi calling (and a compatible network).

Some MVNO's offer wifi calling but the range of phones it works on may be restricted.
