checking mobile phone coverage

Trying to decide which network to use I checked on this site and found EE and Vodafone for my address was 'poor' while O2 and 3 were 'good'.
However checking with vodafone's site it says 'good indoors and outdoors' for 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G.
Who to believe?
'Signalchecker' is different again: showing Vodafone 'good' except for 3G indoors ('no coverage')
Is there a definitive objective site one can use to check?

I've found the same when looking for 4g home broadband. O2 & EE show good signal for me, but they're not at all. The most reliable way is to find a friend(s) on other networks and test locally. Or get some free sim cards and test.1

Use a network that supports wifi calling0

Why don't you order a pay as you go sim for each network and test it out before fully committing?
The point made about WiFi calling is also a good one.0
